ABVP win in DU, JNU shows youth's support for Modi: Amit Shah
New Delhi, Sep 13: BJP chief Amit Shah today said the ABVP's clean sweep in Delhi University Student Union polls showed nationwide "approval" of the Modi government's policies among the youth, claiming that institutions like DU and JNU are "mini India" as they draw students from across the country.
Shah also highlighted the victory of ABVP, the RSS' student wing which works in tandem with BJP politically, in election to one of the four student union posts in the JNU and said its win in both institutions showed the support for the nationalist policies of the NDA government based on principles like 'Sabka saath sabka vikas' and 'antyodaya' (empowering the last man in queue).

"DU and JNU are like mini India as students come here from all parts of the country to fulfill their dreams. Therefore, this victory represents the thinking of the youth of India and it reflects how the youth of the country have given support to the projects run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the youth," Shah said in a statement.
He cited initiatives like forming the Skill Development Ministry by the government to empower youths and said fruitful results had "begun to show on the ground".
The policies of the government were dedicated to the youth and India was ready to harness their full potential under Modi, he said.
