Aarushi Talwar Murder Case: Rajesh, Nupur in jail; now grandfather breaks silence
Noida, Oct 12: Group Captain BG Chitnis (Retd.) broke his silence for the first time in last seven years. He is the grandfather of Aarushi Talwar, a young child who was killed in her house in Noida in 2008.
83-year-old Chitnis, who fought two wars for the country as an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer, cried for justice. He believes he may not live longer to see his daughter and son-in-law, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar, out of jail.

However, he has just one wish. He wants to "die knowing that people will continue to fight against this huge injustice." Rajesh and Nupur have been sent to jail as CBI named them as the only "suspects" in the infamous Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case.

Chitnis said that investigating officers in the case had asked them to maintain silence as their statements might have impacted the probe. However, now he broke his silence as he wanted to help the Talwars to get a "free trial" in court.
An open letter written by Chitnis has become viral on social networking site Facebook. Here is the complete letter:
