AAP's 'Sansad Mein Bhi Kejriwal' Slogan Kicks Off Lok Sabha Campaign

The launch of the Aam Aadmi Party's Lok Sabha poll campaign was led by its convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alongside his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, with the slogan 'Sansad mein bhi Kejriwal, toh Dilli hogi aur khush haal' (With Kejriwal also in Parliament, Delhi will be happy and prosperous).

During the kickstarting of the Lok Sabha polls campaign, it was stated by Kejriwal that all efforts had been made to serve the people of Delhi, who are considered family.

The slogan 'Sansad mein bhi Kejriwal, toh Dilli hogi aur khush haal' was reiterated during the event. A scathing attack on Delhi's Lieutenant Governor was also launched by the civil servant-turned-politician, alleging that every project initiated by his government was stalled by him. The people were urged to "strengthen" him by sending all seven Opposition candidates to Parliament.

Allegations were made that the Lieutenant Governor hated the fact that an ordinary man had been elected and brought to power in Delhi. It was further claimed that actions such as the demolition of Mohalla Clinics with bulldozers and the halting of door-to-door ration delivery schemes, tests, and medicines in hospitals were evidence of this hatred, as reported by India Today.

During the event, Punjab Chief Minister Mann stated that his state is expected to achieve a clean sweep in the Lok Sabha polls later this year. Mann emphasized that if the AAP has a good number of MPs in Lok Sabha, no one would dare to impede Punjab's funds and work in Delhi.

The AAP will engage in the general election in collaboration with its INDIA bloc partner Congress under a seat-sharing arrangement struck with it in Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana. However, in Punjab, both parties have decided to contest the Lok Sabha polls independently, as per media reports.
