AAP sits mum on its highest agenda-Safety for women

When the entire country is condemning the 51-year old Danish tourit's gangrape in New Delhi, neither Manish Sisodia nor Arvind Kejriwal are saying a word.
Ironically, the party came to power fielding the 'safety for women' agenda at the top of its election manifesto. It has slammed the Sheila Dikshit government then for not protecting the women of Delhi. In fact, they had asked the people to vote for AAP so that "no Delhi woman got raped anymore."
Kumar Vishwas, who is to contest the Lok Sabha elections against Rahul Gandhi, however said,"Delhi Police does not report to the Delhi Chief Minister." To this, Sheila Dikshit's son and Congress spokesperson said,"The rape is not an issue for AAP as the woman is not a voter."
