AAP sends notice to Binny, asks to reply by Saturday 5pm
New Delhi, Jan 17: The Aam Aadmi Party's rebel leader Vinod Binny has been sent a showcause notice by the party leadership and has been asked to reply by Saturday 5pm.

Vinod Binny had, on Jan 15, revolted against the party leadership, accusing them of wavering from the poll promises. He had said that the AAP had failed to live up to its promises. "AAP manifesto has duped the people," he said.

Binny said that the AAP had promised people to waive off electricity bills and provide free water to the people of Delhi. "AAP has very slyly included conditions in the case of providing free water to the people of Delhi," he said.

Apart from that, he had also called Kejriwal a 'liar'. Addressing a media conference, Binny said, "From Anna to Kiran Bedi, all have been used by AAP. Now people are being used by the party." Attacking many AAP leaders he said that Sanjay Singh, Kumar Vishwas, Manish Sisodia were a drama company. He said that Arvind Kejriwal was a dictator. "Anyone who tries to raise his or her voice at the AAP meeting is silenced," Binny said. He said that Kejriwal and a handful of his aides are taking everyone for a ride.

Binny also demanded that Kejriwal must resign if he can't deliver promises. Later, AAP leaders including Yogendra Yadav said that Binny should have raised his concerns withing the party instead of going to the media. Yadav had also raised suspicions that Binny is being supported by BJP. "Binny seemed to be reading from a script. He had the same allegations as Harshvardhan," Yadav said.
