Late on Friday night, Gurpreet Gogi Bassi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Ludhiana West constituency, was tragically brought to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital by his family members, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The 58-year-old politician's demise was confirmed by both the district AAP president, Sharanpal Singh Makkar, and Ludhiana's Commissioner of Police, Kuldeep Singh Chahal.
