UP: AAP members protest over law and order situation

Ghaziabad, Aug 23: Aam Aadmi Party today held a protest at the district headquarters here over the "poor" state of law and order in Uttar Pradesh, especially rising crimes against women.

Led by the party's District Secretary Prashant Tomar, the protesters asked the Governor to interfere in the matter and take action to improve the situation.

Tomar alleged that rulers of the state as well as officials are insensitive towards the deteriorating law and order situation. In the name of taking action, they just give irresponsible and controversial statements, he alleged.
