AAP legislator Manoj Kumar gets bail

New Delhi, July 20: A court on Monday granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Manoj Kumar, who was arrested in a land grabbing case.

Additional Sessions Judge Raghubir Singh granted bail to the legislator on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.50,000 and a surety of like amount.

Kumar's counsel C.L. Gupta told the court that the case was based on documentary evidence and there was no chance of its tampering by the accused. [Kondli MLA Manoj Kumar arrested for cheating]

Kumar, who represents Kondli constituency in east Delhi, was arrested on July 9 on charges of land grabbing and cheating.
