AAP Leader Anurag Dhanda Slams Haryana Govt on Crime, Jobs, and Farmers’ Issues

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) senior leader and national media in-charge, Anurag Dhanda, has launched a sharp critique of the BJP-led Haryana government as it completes one year in office. He called on the people of Haryana to demand accountability, transparency and better governance.

Dhanda accused Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's administration of failing to deliver on promises and prioritising political interests over public welfare. He claimed that key decisions affecting the state continue to be influenced from outside Haryana, urging stronger leadership focused on citizens' needs.

Highlighting a deteriorating law and order situation, Dhanda urged the government to strengthen policing and ensure safety for women and the general public. Citing NCRB data, he said proactive measures were needed to restore public confidence.

Dhanda also raised concerns about the plight of farmers, claiming that despite promises of MSP guarantees for 24 crops, paddy was sold ₹500-700 below the Minimum Support Price due to procurement issues and delayed gate passes. He called for transparent, farmer-friendly policies to protect rural livelihoods.

On employment and education, Dhanda criticised irregularities in recruitment exams and the shortage of teachers in many schools. He urged the government to focus on skills development, job creation and educational reforms to offer genuine opportunities to young people.

Regarding infrastructure and power supply, he called for an end to frequent electricity cuts in rural areas and investment in reliable, modern infrastructure to support growth. "The government's duty is to provide results, not just speeches," Dhanda said.

Despite his criticism, he remained hopeful, asserting that AAP will continue to highlight citizens' issues and push for a government prioritising the needs of farmers, youth and women.

"The people of Haryana are aware, alert and ready to hold the government to account. The time for governance focused on integrity, opportunity and justice has come. AAP stands with the people in their fight for a better Haryana," he concluded.
