AAP holds protests against civic bodies
New Delhi, Aug 28: AAP on Sunday staged protests across the national capital against the civic bodies, claiming that money for several projects has been released under the MLA fund but MCD is yet to begin work on them.
"Money under the MLA fund was released almost a year back but MCD has failed to carry out works in several wards.

MCD is purposely delaying the work and acting under pressure," AAP's Delhi unit secretary Saurabh Bharadwaj said.
AAP volunteers protested in some nearly 40 wards here. The party has been at the loggerhead against the civic bodies governed by BJP and has often accused MCD of corruption.
MCD polls are expected to take place early next year and AAP has been making effort to wrest power from BJP.
