AAP denies ticket to Trilokpuri MLA, Speaker for upcoming Delhi polls.
New Delhi, Nov 10: Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party has decided to drop more names from the list of the MLAs whom it will give tickets in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. This decision by the party came on the pretext that he has not done any work for his area.

Dhir was speaker in the previous Delhi Assembly. He won after defeating Talvinder Singh Marwah from Jangpura seat in the previous assembly elections in Delhi. Besides Dhir, party has also decided not to give ticket to its Trilokpuri MLA Raju Dhigan.

Ticket to Trilokpuri MLA is being denied as the party says, he could not stop and control the riots properly which took place on Diwali.

"Though nobody is saying that Raju Dhingan played a part in the riots, the feedback team has pointed to deficiencies in the aftermath of the riots. He did not seem too visible at a time when people of the area needed support. He lost ground because of his seeming inaction," a leader was quoted as saying in an Indian Express report.

It is also being alleged by the party that Dhingan delayed in visiting those who were admitted to hospital.

"In the aftermath of a riot, there are many things that can be done to calm the situation down and bring help to the people of the area. That did not happen," a leader was quoted as saying in the report.

Few days back AAP had denied tickets to its two MLAs, Rajesh Garg from Rohini and Harish Khanna from Timarpur.
