AAP demands probe into corporate house bribes
New Delhi, Feb 27: The AAP on Friday demanded an independent and court monitored probe after media reports claimed that a corporate house influenced top politicians, government officials and media.
The party said such cases by the public servants, MPs and ministers are violation of the Prevention of the Corruption Act.

"These media reports have once again exposed a very strong corporate-politician-bureaucrat-media nexus.
We believe that bribing public servants like bureaucrats, ministers, MPs and police officials is a clear violation of the Prevention of Corruption Act. A thorough probe into the entire matter can only bring out the truth and expose the culprits.
We demand that an independent court monitored inquiry should be set up to bring out the truth and punish the culprits.
The investigation team should be completely insulated from any kind of political influence, because names of some senior politician have figured in media reports and they might try to influence the probe," the party said in a statement.
