9-yr-old boy found dead in J&K's Pulwama district

Srinagar, Oct 1: A nine-year-old boy was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his house in South Kashmir's Pulwama district, police said today.

The body of Sahfaqat Ahmad Dar was found hanging in his room last evening in Gadoora village of the district, a police spokesman said.

A case has been registered and investigations are underway to ascertain the reason behind the boy's death, spokesman said without divulging further details.

The body was handed over to the family of the boy after completion of necessary formalities, he added.
