9 killed in truck-car collision in Yellapur

Nine people were killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a car and a truck on Wednesday in Yellapur taluk, Karnataka.

The deceased reportedly hailed from Gokak town of Belgaum district.

Rescue operations are underway.
