9 injured as bridge collapses in Mumbai
Mumbai, Dec 14: At least nine persons were injured on Sunday when a bridge constructed over a nullah collapsed in suburban Malad area here, police said.
The incident occurred at around 9 PM, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detection) Dhananjay Kulkarni said.
The injured have been admitted to nearby Shatabdi hospital, a police official attached with Bangurnagar police station said. A case has been registered and investigations are underway, he added.
