9 dead in SUV-milk van collision in Tamil Nadu

Dindigul (TN), Apr 3: Nine persons were killed and one was seriously injured when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a milk van in the wee hours today, near here.

The sport utility vehicle carrying them was proceeding towards Karur when the mishap occurred at Sempatti, 18 kms from here, police said.

The condition of the injured, admitted to the government hospital here, was serious, police said.
