8th Public Sector Day: President Pranab Mukherjee presents SCOPE Awards

New Delhi, April 12: On the occasion of eighth Public Sector Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday presented SCOPE excellence awards to honour the outstanding Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).
President expressed a strong belief that India's public sector story is unfolding slowly and many more glorious chapters will be added to its credit in the years to come. CPSEs, including Rural Electrification Corporation, NALCO, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, ONGC Videsh Ltd, ECIL and GSL got awards in the Institutional Category.
