7/11 train blasts: Arguments on quantum of sentence to continue tomorrow
New delhi, Sept 14: The Special MCOCA will continue hearing on the arguments regarding the sentencing of 12 persons in connection with the 7/11 Mumbai train blasts.
Arguments on the sentencing which commenced this morning went on for the entire day and will continue tomorrow as well.

Special MCOCA court judge, Y Shinde is expected to pronounce the quantum of sentence to the 12 persons only after arguments are concluded.
The prosecution has sought death sentences for 8 of the 12 persons convicted in the case. For the remaining four, life sentences have been sought.
Arguments on the sentencing went on for the entire day today amidst tight security. Barring the lawyers associated with the case, members of the prosecution and security personnel no one else was allowed inside the court hall.
On Friday the Special MCOCA court convicted 12 persons and acquitted one. Among those convicted are Tanvir Ahmed Ansari (37), Mohd Sajid Ansari (35), Ehtesham Siddiqui (30), Kamal Ahamed Ansari (37), Mohd Faisal Shaikh (36), Zamir Ahmad Shaikh (36), Mohammad Majid Shafi (32), Shaikh Alam Shaikh (41), Muzzammil Shaikh (27), Soheil Mehmood Shaikh (43), Naveed Hussain Khan (30) Asif Khan (38).
