6 passengers injured as minibus overturns

Kolkata, Aug 17: Six passengers were injured when a minibus overturned on Brabourne Road in the early hours on Monday, police said.

The incident happened at around 2 AM near a crossing at Lyons Range on Brabourne Road when one Naktala-bound minibus coming from Howrah lost control and overturned, a senior officer of Kolkata Police said.

"Six passengers including a boy were injured in the accident. They are currently undergoing treatment at the Medical College and Hospital. The driver and the conductor of the bus have been detained," he said.
