5-year old's rape stuns Indore

Indore, Dec 10: A van driver allegedly raped a five-year-old school girl inside his vehicle here.

The driver, identified as Ajay Solanki (25), has been arrested. Solanki allegedly raped the KG-I student last evening in Aerodrome area of the city when she was alone in the van after he had dropped all other school children, Superintendent of Police (west zone) Abid Khan said.

The girl, after reaching home, informed her parents about the offence, following which they lodged a complaint against the van driver at the Aerodrome police station, he said.

Based on the complaint, the accused was arrested today, he said. The girl was sent for medical examination, Khan said, adding that a detailed probe was on in this connection.
