55 CCTVs to be installed in Bus stand

Already four such CCTVs were installed at the Sathyamangalam and Coimbatore rack. The cameras were linked to the Office of the Superintendent of Police office where specially deputed police personnel will monitor and alert City Patrol duty police and the police outpost in the bus stand in case they notice anything suspicious.
"This will not only reduce the chances of anti-social activities, but also help police in tracking miscreants on the move. This will also enhance the security of women in the city," said one of the security officials.
