5 kg IED recovered in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Feb 26: Paramilitary ITBP today recovered a 5kg improvised bomb from the jungles of Naxal violence-hit Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
Officials said the recovery of a hidden Improvised Explosive Device was made from the Chheribera-Chapai area of the district by a squad of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force which was out on an operational task.

They said the IED was kept hidden by Naxals near a road and could have targeted security forces had it been not detected. They said a squad of the forces' 46th battalion recovered the IED which also had a Belgian Malinois patrol task which is deployed for these tasks.
