A rare hybrid solar eclipse is set to take place on April 20, coinciding with 'Vaishakh Amavasya', which is the new moon day in the month. The first solar eclipse of 2023 seems to occur in the sign of Aries and Ashwini 'nakshatra' (star). The astronomical event will begin at 7.04 am and end at 12. 30 pm.

During the hybrid eclipse, the moon will move in front of the sun to create a "ring of fire" before moving to a total solar eclipse, where the moon will completely block the sun, according to NASA.
