4 women among 6 killed in massive fire at Hyderabad high-rise building
As many as six people, including women, were killed after a fire broke out in a multi-storey commercial complex at Secunderabad on Thursday evening, officials said.
The fire broke out on the 5th floor of the Swapnalok Complex at 7.30 pm due to a short circuit.

Seven people trapped on the fifth floor of the building were rescued by the firemen, and many more are still feared trapped, they said, adding rescue effort to get them are on.
''Six people have died so far including four girls and two boys, these people were inside when the fire broke out. By the time they were taken out, they were critical & were declared dead in the hospital. We've also rescued 7 people,'' North Zone DCP Chandana Deepthi said.
According to a witness, the fire started at around 7.30 pm in the complex that houses several offices.
More than 10 fire fighting vehicles including four fire engines were rushed to the spot to extinguish the blaze. Efforts were still underway to douse the flames.
