As the grand opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, approaches in just four days, individuals from all over the country are preparing to travel to the temple town to partake in the historic consecration ceremony of Lord Ram.

Ayodhya is adorned with various decorations to greet visitors and specifically Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is set to attend the ceremony as a distinguished guest and inaugurate the temple. By air

A dedicated Ayodhya International Airport, inaugurated by PM Modi in December 2023, has seen the announcement of special flights by various airlines for the consecration ceremony. Alternatively, flights can be taken to Mahayogi Gokrakhnat Airport in Gorakhpur or Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, as well as Prayagraj or Varanasi airports.

By train

Several trains are available, depending on the states or cities from which visitors are arriving. In alignment with the airport, a dedicated Ayodhya railway station is well-connected by railways from different zones.

By road

Ayodhya is accessible through various public and private service buses that regularly operate to the city. Buses from Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Delhi, and other major cities are provided by the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation.
