Muzaffarnagar: 36 students fall ill after having mid-day meal
Muzaffarnagar, Aug 25: At least 36 school children were taken ill after consuming mid-day meal at two government schools, located in the same compound, at Kaserwa village under Budhana police station in the district.
Budhana Sub-Divisional Magistrate JP Gupta told newsmen today that an enquiry has been ordered and action will be initiated against those found responsible for the incident.

The students fell ill soon after consuming 'taharai', which was served in mid-day meal at government primary and high schools yesterday, he said.
The children complained of nausea and started vomiting. They were rushed to nearby health centre.
All, except four have been discharged after treatment, the SDM added.
