35 girls serious after intake of iron pills

, March 11: About 35 girls in a college in

fell seriously

after they were administered with iron pills at college post lunch. The incident happened at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Shahjahanpur.

Instead of improving the blood content in the body, the girls complained of giddiness and sickness.

When referring them to the community healthcare centre did not help, they were rushed to the district hospital where more than two dozen of the girls are critical.
