For Indians aspiring to work, study, or reside in the UK, here is an opportunity. The first round of applications for the Indian Young Professional Scheme 2024 commenced on Tuesday, February 20.
Through this initiative, the UK government intends to grant 3,000 Indians a visa for various purposes, including education, employment, or settlement abroad.

Announcing the news, the UK High Commission said, "if you're an Indian graduate who wants to live, work or study in the United Kingdom for up to 2 years, you can enter the ballot for a chance to apply for a visa".
The official website claims that most places will be made available in the February ballot and the remaining places will be made available in the July ballot.
Under this program, Indians aged 18-30 have the opportunity to reside and work in the United Kingdom for a maximum of two years. The program operates through a lottery system, necessitating participation in order to be considered.
How It Works?
Winners will be chosen randomly, and notification of results will be sent via email within two weeks of the lottery's closure. If selected, you will have 90 days from the email date to complete your online application, pay the visa fee, which includes the immigration health surcharge, and provide your biometric information. It is mandatory to arrive in the UK within six months of applying for the visa.
