30-Year-Old Delivery Man Killed Over iPhone Delivery, Body Dumped In Canal
A 30-year-old delivery man was allegedly murdered while delivering an iPhone to a customer who was supposed to pay ₹1.5 lakh for the product, police reported on Monday.
Authorities revealed that the victim's body was dumped in the Indira Canal, and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has been called in to locate it.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Shashank Singh said that Gajanan, a resident of Chinhat, had ordered the iPhone worth approximately ₹1.5 lakh from Flipkart, opting for the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method.
"On September 23, Bharat Sahu, a delivery man from Nishatganj, arrived to deliver the phone. However, he was murdered by Gajanan and an accomplice. After strangling Sahu, they placed his body in a sack and disposed of it in the Indira Canal," Singh stated.
When Sahu failed to return home after two days, his family filed a missing person report on September 25 at the Chinhat police station.
During the investigation, police tracked Sahu's call records and discovered Gajanan's number, which led them to his associate, Akash. Upon interrogation, Akash confessed to the crime, the DCP said.
The search for Sahu's body is ongoing, with the SDRF team working to locate it in the canal.
