Girl gives HCL the taste of its own medicine; turns down offer

Bengaluru, May 25: In one of a case incident, a girl (also a fresher) turned down the offer made by India's tech giant HCL after the latter mailed her the appointment after 3 years of appointment.

While HCL expected an answer from Shivani ( the candidate) within 3 days, but what they did not expect was this answer:

"Moreover, you are asking me to accept the offer in 3 days while you took almost 3 years to send out your joining date?" She also went ahead and said,"it is obvious that HCL is rolling out the appointment letters right now due to the company's market condition and as soon as the market condition gets worse, a lot of people will be pushed out."

She further added that she had forgotten that she had landed a job with HCL as they did not bother to send her an appointment letter for 3 years. To her misfortune, she was also not allowed to sit for any other interview as she had already "landed" a job.

Shivani had been recruited with 40 other people on a campus placement, but all have been waiting for their appointment letters till date. To her surprise, the company did not even bother to apologise to her.
