3 R&AW agents arrested in PoK, claims Pakistan
Indian officials said they were still verifying the claim.
Three agents of the Research and Analysis Wing have been arrested in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Pakistan has claimed. The arrests were carried out a few days ago, the country has indicated.
Indian officials, when contacted, said that they had no such information. "We are still verifying it," an official in New Delhi told OneIndia. The claim by Pakistan comes in the wake of escalating tensions over the Kulbhushan Jadhav issue. Jadhav had been sentenced to death on charges of spying and India while claiming that he is innocent has urged Pakistan to reverse its verdict.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has accused India of abducting one of its officers from Nepal. Lt Colonel Zahir who was on a mission in Nepal at the behest of the Inter-Services Intelligence has gone missing. His family claims that he was abducted by the Indian agencies, a charge that India has denied.
