3 killed as part of rock falls on them at Shiva temple in MP

Chhindwara (MP), March 7: Three persons including two women were today killed after a part of a rock fell on some devotees who had come to visit the Shiva temple in Harrai town to mark 'Maha Shivratri' festival, a top official said.

The incident occurred about 80 km away from the district headquarters when the devotees were entering a cave to reach the temple situated inside it, Chhindwara Collector Mahesh Chandra Choudhry said.

While three persons were killed, two others are feared to be trapped under the debris, he said, adding rescue operations are underway. The deceased were identified as Dolly Pandey (23), Nikita Pandey (35) and Sardeep.
