3 killed as car plunges into gorge in Himachal

Nahan(HP), May 9: Three persons were killed while another was injured when their car fell into a deep gorge today in Parara area of the district, 50 km from here.

The ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Nahan when the accident took place on Nahan-Kheri-Rajgarh road, and the victims hailed from Lana Cheta area, police said.

Dinesh Kumar (30), owner of the vehicle, Subhash (32) and Sukhdev (34) died in the accident. The fourth occupant, Aman, was seriously injured and was rushed to a hospital in Nahan, Jyoti Rana, Nahan Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) said. The district administration has provided immediate relief of Rs 10,000 to the next of kin of each victim and Rs 7,000 to the injured.
