The IEDs were kept in ready to be used position, the officials said. The other recoveries include three mortar bombs, three UBGL grenades, 61 rounds of AK47 and one Chinese pistol with magazine, they said.

A tragedy has been averted by the recovery of these IEDs and the designs of the militants to trigger violence have been thwarted, the officials said.
