3 dead and 12 rescued after house collapsed in Maharashtra
Three people were killed and 12 have been rescued so far after a house collapsed in Mankhurd's Maharashtra Nagar on Thursday early morning.
Mumbai, Nov 15: Three people were killed when a house collapsed in Mankhurd's Maharashtra Nagar on Thursday early morning.
According to ANI reports, 13 people have been rescued so far. Two fire fighting vehicles have been rushed to the spot.
The mishap took place in the ground plus one-storey structure at around 6.15 AM due to a fire that broke out inside the house near MHADA colony in Mankhurd.
In the house collapse, 13 persons, including four women and seven children, were injured. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where two were declared brought dead while one succumbed to injuries during treatment, an official attached to Mumbai civic body's disaster control room said.
