27-Year-Old Former Model Divya Pahuja's Body Found In Haryana Canal
Gurugram Police successfully retrieved the body of Divya Pahuja, the 27-year-old former model whose suspicious murder occurred at a hotel in Gurugram on January 3.
Pahuja's body was found within a canal in Tohana, Haryana. Gurugram Police, along with six dedicated teams, conducted the recovery operation, aided by additional teams from the Punjab police and a 25-member National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team.

Family members positively identified Pahuja's body after a photo was sent to them by the Gurugram Police.
On January 2, Divya Pahuja was escorted to Hotel City Point by a group of five individuals and allegedly shot dead inside room number 111.
Earlier in the week, a 20-year-old woman, identified as the second partner of the main accused and hotel owner Abhijit Singh, was arrested by Gurugram police in connection with the murder case.
The arrested woman, Megha from Mitraon Extension in Delhi's Najafgarh, purportedly assisted Abhijit in concealing the crime weapon, documents, and Divya's personal belongings post the murder.

On Friday, Gurugram Police apprehended Balraj Gill, an accused in Pahuja's murder, at the Kolkata airport, while another accused, Ravi Banga, is still reportedly evading capture.
Three more individuals were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of the 27-year-old Pahuja. On January 5, Gurugram Police claimed to have recovered a car supposedly used to dispose of the body.
CCTV footage from the crime scene, a hotel in Gurugram, revealed that the accused transported the body from the hotel to the car, wrapped in a bedsheet. The Crime Branch of Gurugram Police has deployed approximately six teams for the investigation, spanning Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, Pahuja's family is calling for a CBI investigation into the matter.
Divya Pahuja was previously associated with notorious gangster Sandeep Gadoli and reportedly played a crucial role in his encounter in Mumbai in 2016. While Gadoli was a wanted criminal involved in various extortion and murder cases between 2005 and 2014, Pahuja, a resident of Baldev Nagar in Gurugram, was an aspiring model who crossed paths with Gadoli in Mumbai.
Pahuja fell in love with the gangster and started living with him in Mumbai. However, frequent verbal altercations ensued between them. Taking advantage of the discord, Gurugram police convinced Pahuja to assist them.
On February 6, 2016, Pahuja was with Gadoli inside a hotel room in Mumbai when he was killed by Gurugram cops in a staged encounter.
