However the full scene initially appeared as a fatal road accident however CCTV footage and further investigation led the police to a new theory that it was a planned murder.

Who Are The Seven Arrested

Police have arrested Ayushi Sharma, the victim's 23-year-old daughter, along with her uncle Mohan Swaroop and five others identified as Mohit Sharma, Akash Sharma, Arvind Sharma, Hemant Sharma and Rohit Jatav.

Another accused, Balram alias Ravi, who is believed to have played a key role in the conspiracy, is currently absconding.

Police Allege Murder Was Planned for Property and Job

Based on the ongoing investigation, Neeraj's husband died about a year a go, following his death, Neeraj received a compassionate job and joined as LDC.

The police said that the daughter wanted a government job but was unable to get it as her mother got the appointment.

Investigators also revealed that there had been an ongoing property dispute between the mother and daughter for the past two to three years.

Contract Killers Allegedly Hired for ₹7 Lakh

It is shocking, but a fact that the killers of Neeraj were hired at Rs 7 lakh. It was Ayushi along with her uncle and cousin who hired the contract killers. According to officials, Hemant Sharma, a resident of Bharatpur, was allegedly promised ₹7 lakh to carry out the murder.

It was after the accused monitored Neeraj's daily routine using a rented Thar SUV, and later carried a final attack using a scorpio SUV.

CCTV Footage Helped Crack the Case

The investigating police said that the case took a track after the CCTV footage. Investigators alleged that Mohit Sharma shared Neeraj's location with the group, while Rohit Jatav waited nearby on a motorcycle.

Probe found out that Akash Sharma was driving the Scorpio and Arvind Sharma was travelling with him when they rammed into Neeraj. After the incident, the accused reportedly abandoned the SUV and escaped on a motorcycle.

CCTV footage collected from the area helped investigators piece together the sequence of events and identify those allegedly involved.

Family Had Earlier Raised Concerns

The incident was filed by Neeraj's brother - Rakesh Kumar Sharma. He told police that Neeraj had earlier spoken about problems with her daughter and her in-laws over property. He also claimed that she had received threats to her life on several occasions before the incident.

During questioning, police said Ayushi allegedly admitted that she wanted both the compassionate government job and control over the family property after her mother's death.
