Jaipur: 22-yr-old married woman gang-raped by 4 men

Jaipur, Aug 16: A 22-year-old married woman was allegedly kept hostage and gang-raped by four men over three days in the city, police said today.

The woman lodged a police complaint yesterday accusing the four men of holding her hostage at a house for three days and gang-raping her.

"According to the complaint, the 22-year-old woman was returning home on the night of August 9 in Karni Vihar area when two men known to her -- Suresh and Gujju -- offered to drop her home on their motorcycle," police said.

The accused instead of dropping her at her residence, took her to a room where they held her hostage. They then called two other men and allegedly raped her in turns after consuming liquor.

"She was released on August 13," Investigating Officer Sisram said, adding the matter is under investigation.
