2024 Poll Prediction: Will PM Modi Get Third Term As PM? Here's What CVoter Survey Says

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity has slightly dropped when compared to a survey done a few months ago, but 52 per cent of the respondents still want him to get the third term, according to India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation survey.

The survey for the August edition of the Mood of the Nation claims that 63 per cent of people are satisfied with Modi's work. It has to be noted that 72 per cent of respondents had expressed satisfaction with his work in the survey conducted a few months ago.

In the Mood of the Nation survey, it was unveiled that 44 per cent of participants indicated their intention to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2024 elections, primarily citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the driving factor. Development and Hindutva were distant runners-up as the second and third reasons influencing respondents' decision to support the BJP.

The interesting part of the story is that Modi is ahead of his rivals in the race for the top post. The survey noted that 16 per cent want to see Rahul Gandhi as the next Prime Minister of India.

According to a recent survey by the Times Now ETG opinion poll, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA will come to power in 2024, thereby becoming the second PM to win three consecutive terms after Pandit Nehru.

Going to the survey, the BJP will bag over 300 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha election while the Opposition bloc INDIA will end up winning seats around 160-190 seats.
