2013 Muzaffarnagar riots victim dies

Muzaffarnagar, Apr 20: A 40-year-old man who sustained severe head injury during the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots and went into coma, has died, police said today.

The victim, Maher Alam, a resident of Rehmatnagar locality here, died at his house yesterday, they said.

Alam was severely injured during the riots and an FIR was registered against unidentified people in this regard, police said. No arrest was made in the case, they added.
