20 IAS, 7 KAS officers reshuffle in J&K

Jammu, Apr 11: In a major administrative reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir, state government today ordered transfer and posting of 20 IAS and seven KAS officers. Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti ordered the reshuffle in the first state Cabinet meeting chaired by her.

Among the IAS officers, Sundeep Kumar Nayak, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Agriculture Production Department relieving Rakesh Kumar Gupta of the additional charge, a spokesperson said.

Bipul Pathak, Commissioner/Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department has been transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal, relieving Dr Arun Kumar of the additional charge.

Ashok Parmar, Commissioner/Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary, IT, Technical Education and YSS Department, he said. Navin Kumar Choudhary, Commissioner/Secretary, Finance Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.

He will also hold the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Finance Department till further orders, he said. Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner/Secretary, Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/ Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department.

Sarita Chauhan, Commissioner / Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Social Welfare Department. Vineeta Gupta, Officer on Special Duty, General Administration Department has been be transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K.

Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Secretary, Social Welfare Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, PHE/ Irrigation and Flood Control Department relieving Rohit Kansal of the additional charge. Saurab Bhagat, Secretary, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department.

Hemant Sharma, Secretary, Culture Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary of Higher Education Department. Hilal Ahmad Parray, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Housing Board. Dilshad Khan, Commissioner of Enquiries, J&K has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Culture Department.
