Uttar Pradesh Deploys 20 Drones for Comprehensive Security at Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered comprehensive security measures for Maha Kumbh 2025. Twenty advanced drones are now monitoring the event's area continuously. The Maha Kumbh will take place in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, 2025. These drones offer constant surveillance, capturing every detail of the large gathering, as stated in a press release.

The drones are designed to detect even minor movements, ensuring a secure environment. They provide real-time updates on all 25 sectors of the Maha Kumbh with just one click. This technology is central to the security arrangements, offering detailed insights into every aspect of the event.
Security and Monitoring Enhancements
Special security measures are being put in place to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees attending the Maha Kumbh. Chief Minister Adityanath has instructed that pilgrims travelling to Prayagraj from across India and abroad should have a seamless experience. To boost security, three drone-based projects have already been launched, ensuring vigilant monitoring of every corner of the event.
The number of specialised drones may be increased if necessary, further strengthening the security framework. These drones oversee all construction activities by various departments, including Smart City, Municipal Corporation, Police, Healthcare and Transportation. Currently, 20 state-of-the-art drones are operational, keeping a close watch on land, water and air to ensure safety.
