2 youths die of excessive liquor consumption in Punjab

Batala, Nov 17: Two youths were found dead in a field at Punder village near here today, allegedly due to excessive consumption of liquor, police said.

Ravi (22) and his friend Nirmal Singh (26) both residents of the of Bulowal village were found dead in the field. Ravi's father Kartar Singh in his complaint has said the duo used to consume liquor, police said.

Yesterday they consumed excessive liquor leading to their death, he said in the complaint. The bodies have been sent for post mortem, police said.
