2 terrorists killed, 1 Jawan martyred in J&K

Official sources say that the terrorists may be part of the Lashkar-e-Taiba

Srinagar, Nov 25: Two terrorists were killed and one army jawan martyred following an encounter at Bandipora in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. The martyred jawan was part of the 13 Rashtriya Rifles.

The encounter has stopped for now as search operations continue. It is still unclear whether the terrorists were part of a group which had freshly infiltrated into the Valley.

Official sources say that the terrorists may be part of the Lashkar-e-Taiba.

There has been heightened activity along the India- Pakistan border with several instances of ceasefire violations.

The Indian DGMO had recently wanrned Pakistan about cease fire violations and also advised restraint.
