UP: 2 officials injured in attack by jail inmates
Raebareli (UP), Aug 18: A jailer and a deputy jailor of district jail were on Tuesday injured when prisoners clashed with them during checking, police said.
The incident took place this morning when some prisoners attacked the jail officials during checking, injuring Jailer Dheeraj Sinha and Deputy Jailer Shailendra. Later, police force reached the jail and controlled the situation.
DIG (Prisons) Sharad Kulshresta visited the jail and ordered a probe into the matter.
