Speeding car belonging to Russian Embassy hits barricades, 2 injured
New Delhi, Aug 18: Two persons were injured when a speeding car belonging to the Russian Embassy hit unmanned police barricades and another vehicle at Chanakyapuri on Monday night, police said.
The incident occurred at about 2 am when the car, coming from the direction of South Delhi, was on its way towards the Russian Embassy, police said.

"It first hit unmanned barricades. Then it could not maintain control and hit another car whose occupants, husband and wife, sustained minor injuries," a police officer said.
They were taken to the hospital and later discharged. A case of rash driving has been lodged at the Chanakyapuri Police Station, police said.
It could not be immediately ascertained if the driver of the offending vehicle was under the influence of alcohol, it said.
