2 dead, 8 injured after car rams into roadside vehicle
Allahabad, Aug 4: Five devotees died and eight others injured on their way to Allahabad's Kade Manikpur temple after the car carrying them hit a vehicle parked on the roadside on Jaunpur-Raebareli highway near Nikamuddinpur village at around 2 am on Saturday.

According to reports, all the people in the car were going to Varanasi and the stately Manikpur Darshan in Allahabad. Among those killed included Manoj Patel, Jai Prakash and his wife Sarita Devi, Sushila and Sharmila resident of Varanasi. The police reached the spot and have sent the injured to the hospital.
