Maharashtra: 17 dead in road accident in Dhule

Mumbai, Jun 25: Seventeen people were killed and seven others injured in a road accident in Dhule district of Maharashtra today, police said.

A truck collided with a jeep on the Surat-Nagpur highway in the district, Dhule additional superintendent of police Chandrakant Gawli told PTI over phone.

The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals, Gawli said.
