16 firecracker stalls burnt in Jammu
Jammu, Nov 12: Over a dozen firecracker stalls and 10 motorcycles were completely damaged in a fire in Miran Sahib area on the outskirts of Jammu city, police said on Thursday, Nov 12.
The fire started in one stall and spread quickly to others and engulfed all the 16 stalls in the market last evening, a police officer said. Around 10 motorcycles were also burnt in the incident.

However, there was no loss of life or injury reported in the incident, the officer said.
The stalls were set up to sell firecrackers for Diwali. A case has been registered and investigations are underway, the police officer said.
"We are yet to ascertain the total value of the damages caused in the incident," he said.
