In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, HRD Minister Smriti Irani said for students who exercised the option of not taking Minor-I examination in April, the test has been rescheduled from May 5 to May 8.

"Of the 1,441 students who exercised the option, 1,418 had returned to the institute by May 2 (Monday)," the minister added.
